Leadership Skills
Leadership skills which is the ability to lead effectively is
based on a number of key skills. These skills are highly sought after
by employers as they involve dealing with people in such a way as to
motivate, enthuse and build respect.
A good leader:
1- Inspires and motivates others.
2- displays high integrity and honesty.
3- Solves problems and analyzes issues.
4- Drives for results.
5- Communicates powerfully and prolifically.
6- Builds relationships.
7- Displays technical and professional expertise.
8- Displays a strategic perspective.
9- Develops others.
10- Innovates.
A leader is not necessarily a person who has power and control over other people. However, as you mentioned in your post, he is a person who inspires and motivates other people to improve their community. Sadly, we have many leaders in our society who are not given the chance to practice this act due to political limitations.
